Development of Oita Airport maritime access using hovercraft

Oita Airport is an important base indispensable for the development of the region as the air gateway to Oita Prefecture.
In order to accelerate regional revitalization in Oita Prefecture, such as promoting tourism, attracting businesses, and creating a related population, it is necessary to improve the airport access, which is an issue, and improve the convenience of Oita Airport.
It is a barrier-free hovercraft with a passenger capacity of about 80 people, and is expected to have 300,000 to 400,000 users annually.
It takes about 30 minutes to travel from Oita Airport to central Oita Prefecture.
Oita Prefecture owns the vessels, etc., and a private operator operates them, using a ''separation system''.
